Creamy Mushroom Farfalle

Ingredients (serves 3-4)

Creamy Mushroom Farfalle

  • 1lb farfalle pasta

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 1 white onion

  • 1/2lb mushrooms (maitake/oyster)

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 1 can peas

  • sage

  • grated parmegiano

Equipment

10“ medium pan, pasta pot, salt, pepper


Prep

  1. Chop onion to smallish pieces, tear/cut mushroom into bite sizes pieces, tear/chop sage

Boil Pasta

  1. Cook pasta as directed. (while pasta cooks do sauce and onion/mushroom/peas)

Sauce

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter on medium

  2. Add garlic and sauté for ~1min

Cook Onion, Mushroom, Peas

  1. Add onion, mushroom, peas and cook through for roughly 6 minutes

  2. Add 1 cup heavy cream and chopped/ripped sage, simmer for ~5min, continually stirring to thicken

Combine

  1. Mix everything together in pasta pot.

  2. Add cheese, stir to combine
