Creamy Mushroom Farfalle
Ingredients (serves 3-4)
Creamy Mushroom Farfalle
1lb farfalle pasta
2 tablespoons butter
1 white onion
1/2lb mushrooms (maitake/oyster)
1 cup heavy cream
4 garlic cloves
1 can peas
sage
grated parmegiano
Equipment
10“ medium pan, pasta pot, salt, pepper
Prep
Chop onion to smallish pieces, tear/cut mushroom into bite sizes pieces, tear/chop sage
Boil Pasta
Cook pasta as directed. (while pasta cooks do sauce and onion/mushroom/peas)
Sauce
Melt 2 tablespoons butter on medium
Add garlic and sauté for ~1min
Cook Onion, Mushroom, Peas
Add onion, mushroom, peas and cook through for roughly 6 minutes
Add 1 cup heavy cream and chopped/ripped sage, simmer for ~5min, continually stirring to thicken
Combine
Mix everything together in pasta pot.
Add cheese, stir to combine
