Honey Soy Baked Chicken Thighs

Ingredients (serves 4-6)

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 5 tablespoons honey

  • 4 cloves of garlic; minced (or sub 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder)

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

  • 3 pounds (approximately) chicken thighs (or preferred chicken meat)

  • salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

1 baking sheet; foil


Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 425F

  2. Mix olive oil, soy, honey, garlic, ginger, pepper in a bag with chicken (and put in fridge up to a day). [Alternatively just do this in a bowl same day]

Bake

  1. Place marinated chicken onto the baking sheet; bake for 25min at 425 w/ skin side up.

  2. Flip chicken (skin side down) for 10min.

  3. Flip again (skin side up) for another 10min.

  4. Fin.
